San Antonio SHRM - |
Dear San Antonio SHRM Members,
I am both honored and excited to introduce myself as your incoming Board President for the San Antonio chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). As we step into this new year together, I am filled with a profound sense of gratitude for the opportunity to lead such an incredible community of HR professionals. With over 600 members strong, we are uniquely positioned to drive meaningful change, foster professional growth, and make a lasting impact in our workplaces and the wider San Antonio community.
This year, my vision as your Board President is centered around two key priorities: Connection and Professional Growth.
Connection: One of the greatest strengths of our chapter lies in the diverse expertise and experiences of our members. This year, we will focus on fostering deeper connections through expanded networking opportunities, collaborative events, and volunteerism. Together, we can create a supportive and vibrant community that uplifts each of us professionally and personally.
Professional Growth: Elevating the skills and careers of our members is at the heart of our mission. Expect fresh programming, forward-thinking workshops, and thought leadership that equips you to excel in your roles and lead the way in the ever-evolving HR landscape. Your growth as HR professionals is our shared success, and we are committed to supporting you every step of the way.
As we embark on this journey, I encourage each of you to engage actively with the chapter—attend our events, join a committee, or simply connect with a fellow member. Your participation and insights are the foundation of our collective success.
Thank you for entrusting me with this opportunity to serve. I look forward to meeting many of you in the months ahead and am eager to see all that we will achieve together. Here’s to an inspiring and impactful year for the San Antonio SHRM chapter!
Warm regards,
Briana R. Garcia
Board President, San Antonio SHRM
